HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER (based in Madrid)

The position: With Responsibility to the General Manager for the Spanish Sales company and functional reporting line to the Regional Human Resources Manager the selected candidate will be responsible to ensure the coordination and process harmonization of all HR related matters aimed to support the group and regional business strategies and help to achieve the business objectives. 


The challenge: The post-holder will contribute to design and implement HR strategies aimed to attract, compensate, train, develop and retain premier talent which enables the successful roll out of the strategies of the group. Additionally s/he will create and sustain a work environment that embraces the brand’s culture focusing on fair and equitable treatment and associate satisfaction to enable business results. 

As HR Business Partner s/he will work close to the business ensuring optimum cooperation between HR and other group functions providing with functional expertise, creativity, change facilitation and entrepreneurial leadership to the discipline. S/he will coordinate and work with other geographical HR Business Partners to ensure consistency of processes and policy application.

The background:
The ideal candidate should have graduate degree (business, engineering), 4-5 years of experience working within HR role (Business Partner/HR generalist) with at least one functional area of expertise. Experience leading change projects will be strongly valued. Fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) is essential; other languages a plus.

- Very strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization. 
- Analytical and diagnosis skills, attentiveness to understand and translate business objectives into HR strategy and inclination to respond quickly and practically to the business. 
- Ability to manage change using own initiative, operating under pressure with conflicting priorities and working to tight deadlines.
- Strong customer awareness and service orientation. 
- Communication, influence and relationship-building talent.
- Team player; natural collaborator yet able to take a stance on tough/contentious

Additional value will be given to: 
- Experience working within commercial subsidiaries of industrial groups.
- Experience within other business roles apart from 3-4 years HR Partner/HR specialist role.
- Experience working with regionalized organizations.
